caviar lemon

"Microcitrus australasica, also known as caviar lime. It's a citrus fruit of Australian origin, grown in tropical forests. The caviar lime grows on a large, bushy, thorny shrub with dark-green leaves. Fragrant white to pink flowers appear from winter to summer.

L for Lemon caviar

Lemon caviar is an elongated, narrow, cylindrical citrus fruit like a gherkin, 4 to 8 cm long. It contains crunchy, translucent beads reminiscent of caviar.

Citron Caviar is distinguished by :

  • Its pulp is made up of hundreds of tiny yellow, neon green or light green pearls.
  • its incredibly original pearls create an explosion of flavours when they burst in the mouth
  • its intense fragrance, with tangy notes of lemon, grapefruit or lemongrass
  • its thin, green skin is proof of ripening on the tree, not in cold storage.
